Everywhere

Turn it inside out so I can see
The part of you that's drifting over me
And when I wake you're never there
But when I sleep you're everywhere
You're everywhere

Just tell me how I got this far
Just tell me why you're here and who you are
'Cause every time I look you're never there
And every time I sleep you're always there

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes, it's you I see
You're everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone
I'm not alone

I recognize the way you make me feel
It's hard to think that you might not be real
I sense it now, the water's getting deep
I try to wash the pain away from me
Away from me

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes, it's you I see
You're everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone
I'm not alone

I am not alone
Whoa, oh, oh, oh

And when I touch your hand
It's then I understand
The beauty that's within
It's now that we begin

You always light my way
I hope there never comes a day
No matter where I go
I always feel you so

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I close my eyes, it's you I see
You're everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone

'Cause you're everywhere to me
And when I catch my breath, it's you I breathe
You're everything I know that makes me believe
I'm not alone

You're in everyone I see
So tell me
Do you see me?

1, 2, 3, 4

1-2-1-2-3-4

Give me more loving than I've ever had
Make it all better when I'm feeling sad
Tell me I'm special even when I know I'm not
Make it feel good when it hurts so bad
Barely get mad

I'm so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
It's as easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4

There's only ONE thing (one)
TWO do (two)
THREE words (three)
FOUR you... (four)
(I love you)
I love you

There's only ONE way (one)
TWO say (two)
Those THREE words (three)
And that's what I'll do... (four)
(I love you)
I love you

Give me more loving from the very start
Piece me back together when I fall apart
Tell me things you never even tell your closest friends
Make it feel good when it hurts so bad
The best that I've had

And I'm so glad I found you
I love being around you
You make it easy
It's as easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4

There's only ONE thing (one)
TWO do (two)
THREE words (three)
FOUR you... (four)
(I love you)
I love you

There's only ONE way (one)
TWO say (two)
Those THREE words (three)
And that's what I'll do... (four)
(I love you)
I love you

(I love you)
I love you
You make it easy
It's as easy as 1-2-1-2-3-4

There's only ONE thing
TWO do
THREE words
FOUR you...(I love you)
I love you

There's only ONE way
TWO say
Those THREE words
And that's what I'll do...(I love you)

I love you
(I love you)
I love you
1-2-3-4

I love you
(I love you)
I love you

Buuuuuuuurnnnnn

Period 2:

Pop quiz. (@*&$@*($&. At least we got to use books/notebooks. Plus, it was matching vocab.

Period 3:

Blah, worked on my collage. It's actually turning out quite well. I'm pleased with it. I even created a storyline behind the poem.

Period 7:

Practice velocity/speed problems.

Advisory:

Or should I say "advisory" as written on my and Allora's Open House papers for our parents.

And I still find it creepy that he locks the doors. Both doors. Yeah. Creepy.

Period 4:

Track walking. It was nice out today, really. Such a pretty blue sky :-)

Period 5:

Something with graphs and f(x) functions and...stuff. With numbers. And equations.

Lunch:

Blah, I can't wait for second semester. Then, I have lunch with Meggles and Ellen and Jake.

Not that I don't already have lunch with him now, but I also have period 7 lunch with him. Which is full year.

Scoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Period 6:

Oh my, he's quite creative. And apparently does have a heart. And a guilty concious. Slightly.

Quote of the Blog:

I did better on that than I thought!
You did better on that than *I* thought.
OUCH!

Yes, I burned him. And for that, he smacked me a few times. Don't I love him? Heh, heh.

Savior

Jake was singing this at lunch today, and I thought it was really pretty. :-)

It kills me not to know this, but I've all but just forgotten
What the color of her eyes were, and her scars, or how she got them
As the telling signs of age rain down, a single tear is dropping
Through the valleys of an aging face that this world has forgotten

There is no reconciliation that will put me in my place
And there is no time like the present to drink these draining seconds
But seldom do these words ring true when I'm constantly failing you
Like walls that we just can't break through until we disappear

So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know

That's when she said "I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save"
That's when I told her "I love you girl
But I'm not the answer to the questions that you still have"

But the day pressed on like crushing weights
For no man does it ever wait
Like memories of dying days
That deafen us like hurricanes

Bathed in flames we held the brand
Uncurled the fingers in your hand
Pressed into the flesh like sand
Now do you understand?

So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know

That's when she said "I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save"
That's when I told her "I love you girl
But I'm not the answer to the questions that you still have"

1000 miles away
There's nothing left to say
But so much left that I don't know
We never had a choice
This world is too much noise
It takes me under
It takes me under once again

I don't hate you
I don't hate you

So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
Because I don't know

That's when she said "I don't hate you boy
I just want to save you while there's still something left to save"
That's when I told her "I love you girl
But I'm not the answer to the questions that you still have"

I don't hate you
I don't hate you, no

Spaniiish classss

Period 3:

Gah, I hate "share with the class". Hate it!

Period 7:

Gosh, this class is easy. Plus the teacher is AWESOME!

Period 1:

SUB!! Blew off work because this class drops tomorrow.

Advisory:

My God, he LOCKS THE DOOR from the outside in advisory. Meaning, no one can get in. CREEPY.

Period 5:

He didn't feel like teaching so we took an easy day. :-D

Period 6:

Spanish...Spanish...Spanish...

What can I say about this class except for that I LOVE IT?

Jake (a.k.a. "Jacobo" in that class) and I are CONSTANTLY going at each other's throats.

He tried to bonk me over the head with papers. They flew everywhere. FAIL!

At lunch...he KEPT SINGING. He has a nice voice, though, kinda soothing.

And out of NOWHERE, he just goes "MY GOD, YOU'RE SHORT!"

Um, random much? Ok, Captain Obvious, we all are aware of my height (or lack thereof).

Me: Why are you so mean to me?
Him: I'm mean to everyone!
Me: No you're not.
Him: Yes I am! It's just my way of showing....... *pause. He is trying to choke out the word. This is difficult for him. It may take a minute to get out*.....friendship.

Ok, Ellen? YOU WERE RIGHT.

HAPPY NOW?

Anyway, Senora keeps looking at us all weird and going "ay-ay-ay". Yes, Senora G., we are friends.

In a weird sort of way.

But I like it.

And note to everyone...don't EVER let Jake say "fo' shizzle" AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Period 4:

Screw this class.

Anyway, dance last night was AWESOME! :-D

Quote of the Blog:

I want to smack you so bad right now.
You wouldn't dare.
Yes, I would.
Not with the TEACHER there!
Oh, wanna take this outside?

xoxo Meg

I get by with a little help from my friends ♥

Pre-period 7:

Hello, Jacob, my very best friend in the whole wide world!
....that usually means someone wants something from me.

But he DID get my locker open, so...

Period 7:

Post-lab.

Period 1:

Snoreeeeeeeeeee. I'm not very pleased with this class.

Period 2:

School picturesssssss. Talked to my Meggles (whom I love to pieces!) and Ellen (whom I also somehow love).

Advisory:

Snoreeeeeeeee. Again.

Period 6:

I still love this class.

Jake: *pokes my forehead*

A pause.

Jake: It's warm.
Me: What?
Jake: Your forehead. It's warm.

Ummmmmmm.....okayyyyyyy.....then......

And today we actually argued on weather or not we were going to get along. Seriously.

"Why break tradition?" he says.

"Why not?" says I.

"Because," he says. "It's tradition."

Period 4:

THE MILE. Dun, dun, dun. Walked it in 23 min 27 sec.

Lunch:

Absolutely boring.

Period 5:

QUIZ! And I actually don't think I failed this one.

Wow.

Quote of the Blog:

I can't speak today.

xoxo Meg

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Period 1:

Put the couplets around the school (oh.my.gosh.) & did like...nothing else.

Period 2:

Finished the presentations.

Period 3:

Made up my poem. The teacher liked it. She said it was sad, but it was really good. Yay. I'll post it when I get it back :)

Advisory:

99 indifferent pinkish balloons! Boy, I'm feeling indifferent today. Only Allora and I get that.

Period 4:

I hate this class. End of discussion.

Period 5:

Oh man, this teacher is insane.

But we did get Oreos.

Lunch:

Ok, so the only lunch(es) where I have anyone are periods 6 and 7.

Period 6:

Ahh, la clase de espanol, por fin. Claro que si, Jacob es un "meanie" y no (listen) a mi. Bobo.

Yo digo el que es "Ilse", y que "Ilse" es una chica.

Pero NOOOOOOO, el (asks) la maestra!

Quote of the Blog:

No, I LISTEN to you. I PROCESS what you're saying. I just don't OBEY you.

xoxo Meg

Monday, September 14, 2009

So it's been proven...

Period 2:

Sub! First sub of the year :-P

Period 3:

Cut out lyrics for the poem thingy. I went with the Whispering/Broken combo. It should come out really good, I think.

Period 1:

That teacher is going to drive me INSANE by the end of the year.

Heroic couplets?

And we're putting them AROUND THE SCHOOL?

Lovely.

Advisory:

Nothing worth remarking on.

Period 5:

Um, what? Complete the square WHAT? Um. Okay. Sure. Whatever.

Period 6:

This class is actually going to be really fun. Kayla L., Jake, and I in a group = amusement.

Lunch:

It's been proven that Jake and I CAN be alone together without killing each other. We CAN get along.

Of course, we were half getting along and half arguing. He's noticed that, too. Aww? But it was just him and me. Talking. And MOSTLY getting along. Only one spat, really, that went on.

And we found weird pics in our Spanish book. Like, there's one of a guy climbing on a roof with a gun, looking like he's gonna shoot this other guy and a cat. Seriously, he has a gun.

Period 7:

Physics! High-five for physics, everyone. Yessssss. We did a lab. It was quite simple. I really actually like this class.

Quote of the Blog:

It sends shivers up my spines.
......WHAT?
*laughing* I'm disorientated right now.
...apparently so.

xoxo Meg

Hear You Me

Megan C. sang this last night at the Forever Young benefit concert for Kim (in honor of her birthday, 9/11/93).

It made me cry (and pretty much everyone else there!)

Hear You Me--Jimmy Eat World

There's no one in town I know
You gave us some place to go
I never said thank you for that
I thought I might get one more chance

What would you think of me now
So lucky, so strong, so proud?
I never said thank you for that
Now I'll never have a chance

May angels lead you in
Hear you, me, my friends
On sleepless roads, the sleepless go
May angels lead you in

So what would you think of me now
So lucky, so strong, so proud?
I never said thank you for that
Now I'll never have a chance

May angels lead you in
Hear you, me, my friends
On sleepless roads, the sleepless go
May angels lead you in

May angels lead you in
May angels lead you in

And if you were with me tonight
I'd sing to you just one more time
A song for a heart so big
God wouldn't let it live

May angels lead you in
Hear you, me, my friends
On sleepless roads, the sleepless go
May angels lead you in

May angels lead you in
Hear you, me, my friends
On sleepless roads, the sleepless go
May angels lead you in

May angels lead you in

Period 3:

I made a poem! In Art class! WTF does poetry/music have to do with 2D/3D Design?

It was a good poem, though, I must say, especially for 7:30 a.m.

Period 1:

Mock Epics. They're not fun to write. Epics also aren't fun to read.

Period 2:

Absolutism.

Advisory:

Read Just Listen.

Period 6:

Hahaha, Senora thinks Jake and I are crazy, or we have issues or something.

Me: You could NEVER kill me.
Jake: Someday, I am going to impale you.
Me: That's horrible! You are a bad person!
Senora: *gives us a weird look*
Me: This is normal.
Jake: Yeah, don't worry, this is normal.
Me: If we WEREN'T fighting, I'd think there was something wrong with us.
Jake: ...well...not neccessarily. We CAN get along...sometimes.
Me: Yeah. On a good day.

And on Wednesday, he told me that I'm worthless in society. I thanked him. How sweet he is.

Anyway.

Lunch:

Sat with Ally. (Jake was selling tickets)

Period 7:

Another activity. Involving vectors. And drawing things. Woooooo.

Period 4:

I hate this class.

Gym should be illegal.

Or non-mandatory.

Seriously.

Quote of the Blog:

(Ok so this is a day old, but I had to put this)

Jake: *is walking with Nicole past me as I'm going to lunch) So you put it in the hole...
Me: *thinking* Why did that just sound very wrong and sexual?

xoxo Meg

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Period 1:

Ugh, this class is so crazy annoying.

Period 2:

I like this class, a lot. I'm gonna get a lot out of it.

Period 3:

*bashes head on table* WHY?

Advisory:

Eating chocolate, fantasizing, threats, and making fun of Twilight (part II).

Period 7:

Oh my goodness, I might...hmm...LEARN something in Science this year.

Period 4:

Gym? Long period? Ickkkkkkk.

Lunch:

Nothing. At all. And what was that crap they were playing?!

Period 5:

It wasn't...that bad today. Much better than Gym was.

Quote of the Blog:

No. No reason. She just deserves it.
Why does she deserve it?
BECAUSE SHE DOES.

xoxo Meg

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

Period 2:

Watched a movie. That was it. Deja vu of last year, much?

Period 3:

Fire drill! Eep. This class is kinda boring.

Period 7:

Gah, I actually LIKE Physics. I actually LIKE it!

Advisory:

Making fun of Twilight ;-)

Period 4:

Gym. Ugh, it sucks. So much!

Period 5:

Trig is useless.

Lunch:

Nothing.

Period 6:

Woooooooooo!

Me: Think, we'll graduate next year and never see each other again.
Jake: No! Don't say that! Then I'll be sad. I have to think of it as a break, or I'll get sad.

Awwwwwwwww.

Quote of the Blog:

Stop making faces at me!

xoxo Meg

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

Bad spelling, oh no!

Period 3:

Artttt. Oi vey. Not my favorite class.

Period 7:

PHYSICS! Yeahhh. Took notes the whole class. It was an easy day.

Period 1:

Engrishhh. We had to do a stream of conciousness. Mine was like "The phone is ringing. The teacher is answering the phone..."

Advisory:

Goddang hiccups gah. I hiccuped like, the entire time.

Period 5:

God, Trigashlometry sucks. But Cute Guy is nice. He's a Senior.

Period 6:

Span-eeesh. Jake amuses me...sometimes.

Lunch:

Um. Boring.

Jake felt bad though...or rather, he would've...

Kayla: Wanna join us outside?
Jake: Well...I would...but I'd feel bad for her *glancing at me*

And then he actually threw my trash away for me and tried to get me to talk (I was being quiet).

Awww?

And he laughed because of how small my hands are. We measured mine against his. Cute...long story.

Period 4:

Pheeesicallll Educaasheeeeeon. Ew, ew, ew. EW. Ew! I hate this. Almost as much as I hate math.

Quote of the Blog:

We're even now.
Ha! Even? HA! I'm tall. You're short.

xoxo Meg

And the fun continues

Period 7:

I freaking love this teacher. He's awesome.

Period 1:

Engrrrrishhhhhh izzzz funzzzzz.

Period 2:

I like this class a lot so far.

Advisory:

It's fun. NOT!

Period 6:

Gah. Just...gah.

Ellen, he's in my class for good.

And apparently thinks he can humilate/embarrass me. Ha! I'd love to see him try and fail.

It's a really quiet class, but I like it a lot. This is gonna be my salvation.

And why must he poke me in the forehead whenever he sits down?!

Period 4:

Sat on bleachers. Read. Blah.

Lunch:

This lunch is like, half empty. There's no one there, literally. Everyone's in first/third lunch!

Period 5:

I'm gonna FAIL this class. Seriously. I am. I did not understand ONE thing on that assessment.

Quote of the Blog:

You don't know me!
I know enough *evil grin*
Oh yeah? When's my birthday?
Umm...it's in July....right?

First day of JUNIOR YEAR!!

Period 1: English III AT/H

We've lost about 5 or so from our ranks :(
But we're reading ah-lot this year. And I mean a LOT! Which is nice :)

Period 2: Western Civ AT/H

This class sounds like a ton of fun! Nice teacher, too.

Period 3: (Semester 1) Dimensional 2D/3D Design

Mix class (Freshmeats--I mean, Freshmen through Seniors).
Cool teacher, though. Although we were only there for like 10 minutes due to assembly.

Assembly:

Didn't see anyone, really, until Theresa and Jake walked in. Yayyyy :)
Meggles and Ellen were dallying in gym (tyyyypicallll) so I saw them after.

Period 4: (Quarter 1) Gym

Bor-ing. Sat on the bleachers. Small class this year. Maybe 22 people? Less, really.

Advisory: NOW IN ANOTHER ROOM!

Gasp. A new room. We moved next door, while they moved to our room. Why? Don't ask me why. I don't know.

Allora kept making me laugh :)

Period 7: Physics I H

Okay so no one sat with me? So I was at a table by myself. Only for today, though. Tomorrow we're getting actual seats.
Also a mixed class. Mostly Juniors, but a few Seniors, too.
Bad news: KC is in that class. Hate her. Grrr.

Period 5: Trig/A. Geom.

That. Teacher. Is. Insane.
Mixed class, again. Mostly Juniors, a few Seniors, and one Sophomore?? XD must be a genius like Ellen.

Lunch:

No one is in this lunch? So...yeah.

Period 6: Spanish IV H

A FRIEND IS IN THIS CLASS! HOORAY!

Of course, it's JAKE. OF ALL PEOPLE.

Him: Hmm. Should I actually sit near you?
Me: ......
Senora: *looks at us*
Me: Oh, we're friends.
Senora: Es tu amigo favorito?
Me: No!
Senora: Ahh, el es tu amigo...
Me: Si...
Senora: Pero NO es tu favorito.
Me: Si!

And he's just looking at me the WHOLE TIME like "grrrr..."

And then he patted the top of my head. Like I was a dog or something. (ELLEN I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING! STOP IT!)

He might be switching out because he's "GETTING OUT OF CHORUS AT ALL COSTS!!!!" (his words.)

God, I hope he doesn't.

That boy really needs a friend.

Spanish writing assignment, "if you had one wish, what would it be?"

His answer: To have Kim back.

I almost cried, I swear.

And under "best friends", his second answer was "Kim..."

:'(

He's such a sweet kid, too. I've missed him. Even when he's mean to me and all...

Anyway =]

So that was prettttyyy much the first day back!

Quote of the Blog:

You're gonna be mean to me just because Ellen's not here.
......yes.

Fly With Me

If time was still
The sun would never never find us
We could light up
The sky tonight
If I would see the world through your eyes
Leave it all behind

If it's you and me forever
If it's you and me right now
I'd be alright
Be alright

We're chasing stars to lose our shadow
Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine
So won't you fly with me?

Gotta fly with me now

Now the past
Can come alive
And give it meaning
And a reason
To give all I can
To believe once again

If it's you and me forever
If it's you and me right now
I'd be alright
Be alright

We're chasing stars to lose our shadow
Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine
So won't you fly with me?

Maybe you were just afraid
Knowing you were miles away
From the place where you needed to be
And that's right here with me

It's you and me forever
You and me right now
I'd be alright

We're chasing stars to lose our shadow
Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine
So won't you fly with me?

If it's you and me forever
If it's you and me right now
I'd be alright
Be alright

We're chasing stars to lose shadow
Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine
So won't you fly, fly, fly
With me?

Where Are You Now?

Where Are You Now? by Honor Society. They're a pretty cool band; check them out!

To my favorite teacher
Who told me never give up
To my 5th grade crush
Who I thought I really loved
To the guys I missed
And the girls we kissed
Where are you now?

To my ex-best friends
Don't know how we grew apart
To my favorite band
And sing-alongs in my car
To the face I see
In my memories
Where are you now?

Where are you now?
'Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

To my first girlfriend
I thought for sure was the one
To my last girlfriend
Sorry that I screwed it up
To the ones I loved
But didn't show it enough
Where are you now?

Where are you now?
'Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

And I'll never see those days again
And things will never be that way again
But that's just how it goes
People change but I know
I won't forget you

To the ones who cared
And who were there from the start
To the love that left
And took a piece of my heart
To the few who'd swear
I'd never go anywhere
Where are you now?

Where are you now?
'Cause I'm thinking of you
You showed me how
How to live like I do
If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

If it wasn't for you
I would never be who I am

If it wasn't for you
I'd be nothing
Where are you now?

Alyyyy's Sweet 16

Slightly epic.

Not NEARLY as fun or as epic as Ed's grad party, but still fun.

Swimming with Arthur, Dani, Aly, and her friend Dustin. Pretty fun.

EPIC FAIL: Arthur trying to ride on the alligator-rocker-float thing.

Ed and Meggles came later. We ate. There was cake (GOOD cake). And ice cream.

Meggles and Dani got hyper.

Arthur and Ed were pretending not to know us.

Apparently, rubbing Arthur's chest calms him down...

*snickers*

Went inside around 8:30.

How many idiots does it take to set up a VCR?

2.

But how LONG does it take two idiots to set up a VCR?

45-freaking-minutes.

Not even kidding.

EPIC FAIL ON THEIR PART.

Dustin left, so it was just the rest of us. Obviously.

So we watched The Lion King.

And dissected it.

IT IS NOW SO WRONG. SO SO SO WRONG!

Dani: *as Simba is being held over the rock by Rafiki* LOOK! HE'S DOING THE MICHAEL JACKSON!

And other...assorted...heheheh.

Zazu: He would make a rather handsome throw rug.
Dani: How do they know what rugs are...?

Ed: THAT MONKEY IS ON SOMETHING! HOW CAN IT NOT BE ON SOMETHING!?

We sang along to all the songs.

Badly.

But who cares?

Ed and Arthur make a freaking hilarious couple. Timon + Pumbaa = them.

After, we were JUST in time to watch America's Funniest (Home) Videos.

I thought we were gonna diiiiiiiiiie laughing through that hour.

SO. EPICALLY. FUNNY.

Thennnnnnnn, we happened to catch Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Will: My mom thinks The Little Mermaid is porn.

We were like, "that's...ironic." *laughter*

Because, well, it IS essentially porn. We discussed that earlier that evening.

ANYWAY.

Ed and Arthur left.

Dani, Aly, Meggles, and I chatted until 3.

We woke up. Ate pancakes.

And that's basically it.

Quote of the Blog:

Ed: STOP STEALING ALL MY LINES!
Dani: WELL, THEN SAY THEM FASTER!

So Far, So Great

Last song from "Here We Go Again".

Off to the races
I'm going places
Might be a long shot
Not gonna waste it

This is the big break
And it's calling my name
Yeah

So far
So great
Get with it
At least that's how I see it

Having a dream
Is just the beginning

So far
So great
Get with it
At least that's how I see it

Having a dream
Is just the beginning

So far
So great
Get with it
At least that's how I see it

Having a dream
Is just the beginning

So far
So great
Believe it

Can't take away this feeling
Taking a wild ride
A chance to my side
Yeah I can't wait
So far
So great

Everything You're Not

I've been bruised and I've been broken
Can't believe that I have put up with all this pain
I've been used and I was choking on the promise
I would never fall again

I used to sing to your twisted symphony
The words that had me trapped inside your misery
But now I know
The reason why I couldn't breathe

'Cause all I want is everything you're not
So go ahead and slam the door
'Cause you can't shut me out
And no I don't, I don't care what you say
'Cause all I really, all I really want
Is everything you're not

Never gonna break my heart again
Everything you're not
Never gonna see your face again
Never wanna feel this way again

Your darkness was my weakness but it turns out
That it only went so deep, deep
A meaningless diversion that is all that you
Ever meant to me

And I am done with your twisted symphony
The words that had me sound like stolen poetry
I tore the pages and I can finally breathe

'Cause all I want is everything you're not
So go ahead and slam the door
'Cause you can't shut me out
And no I don't, I don't care what you say
'Cause all I really, all I really want
Is everything you're not

Never gonna break my heart again
Never gonna see your face again

I want a gentlemen who treats me like a queen
I need respect, I need love
Nothing in between
I will not spell it out for you if you can't see

'Cause you're not worthy, you don't deserve me
And now I'm gone

Everything you're not, not, not
Everything you're not, not, not

'Cause all I want is everything you're not
So go ahead and slam the door
'Cause you can't shut me out
And no I don't, I don't care what you say
'Cause all I really, all I really want
Is everything you're not

Never gonna break my heart again
Never gonna see your face again
Never wanna feel this way again

Remember December

I feel a seperation coming on
'Cause I know you want to be moving on
I wish it would snow tonight
You'd pull me in, avoid a fight
'Cause I feel a seperation coming on

Just prove, that there's nothing left to try
'Cause the truth, I'd rather we just both deny
You kissed me with those open eyes
It says so much, it's no suprise
To you, but I've got something left inside

Don't surrender, surrender, surrender
Please remember, remember, December
We were so in love back then
Now you're listening
To what they say
Don't go that way
Remember, remember, December

Please remember
Don't surrender......

You said you wouldn't let them change your mind
'Cause when we're
Together fire melts the ice
Our hearts are both on overdrive

Come with me, let's run tonight
Don't let these memories get left behind

Don't surrender, surrender, surrender
Please remember, remember, December
We were so in love back then
Now you're listening
To what they say
Don't go that way
Remember, remember, December

Please remember
Don't surrender......

I remember us together
With a promise of forever
We can do this, fight the pressure
Please remember, December

Don't surrender, surrender, surrender
Please remember, remember, December
We were so in love back then
Now you're listening
To what they say
Don't go that way
Remember, remember, December

Please remember
Don't surrender......

World Of Chances

You've got a face for a smile you know
A shame you waste it when you're breaking me slowly

But I've got a world of chances for you
I've got a world of chances for you
I've got a world of chances
Chances that you're burning through

I've got a paper and pen
I go to write you goodbye
And that's when I know

I've got a world of chances for you
I've got a world of chances for you
I've got a world of chances
Chances that you're burning through

Oh, I'm going my own way
My faith has lost its strength again
Oh, it's been too hard to say

We've fallen off the edge again
We're at an end
We're at an end

Maybe you'll call me someday
Hear the operator say the number's no good and that

She had a world of chances for you
She had a world of chances for you
She had a world of chances
Chances you were burning through

You've got a face for a smile you know

Stop The World

I don't know why
I don't know why I'm so afraid
I don't know how
I don't know how to fix the pain
We're livin' a lie, livin' a lie; this needs to change
We're out of time, we're out of time, and its still the same

We can't stop the world, but there's so much more that we could do
You can't stop this girl, from falling more in love with you
You said 'nobody has to know'
Give us time to grow, and take it slow
But I'd stop the world, if it'd finally let us be alone
Let us be alone

I'm hearing the noise, hearing the noise from all around
I'm on the edge, I'm on the edge of breaking down
Like Bonnie and Clyde, let's find a ride, and ditch this town
To keep it alive, keep it alive, don't make a sound

We can't stop the world, but there's so much more that we could do
You can't stop this girl, from falling more in love with you
You said 'nobody has to know'
Give us time to grow, and take it slow
But I'd stop the world, if it'd finally let us be alone
Let us be alone

Never wanna take that final look
I'll turn another page, won't close the book

We can't stop the world, but there's so much more that we could do
You can't stop this girl, from falling more in love with you
You said 'nobody has to know'
Give us time to grow, and take it slow
But I'd stop the world, if it'd finally let us be alone
Let us be alone

Got Dynamite?

I can't take your hand and
Lead you to the water
I can't make you feel what you don't feel
But you know you wanna
Find out how to crack me
Log in try to hack me

Underneath the surface
There's so much you need to know
And you might feel like you're drowning
But that's what I need to let go

Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
Kick senseless, my defenses
Tell me what you're gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

Got dynamite?
Got dynamite?

I can't paint this picture
Just so you can hang it
I can't wait for you to understand
If you just don't get it
Find out how to crack me
Log in try to hack me

Underneath the surface
There's so much you need to know
And you might feel like you're drowning
But that's what I need to let go

Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
Kick senseless, my defenses
Tell me what you're gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

When the walls come crashing down
I hope you're standing right in front of me
Where my past lies all around
'Cause all you need to save me is to intervene
And make the walls come crashing down

Got... got dynamite?

Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
Kick senseless, my defenses
Tell me what you're gonna do
I need you to light the fuse
Tell me what you got to break down the walls
You just might need dynamite

Got dynamite?
Got dynamite?
Got dynamite?
Got dynamite?

Every Time You Lie

You told me on a Sunday
That it wasn't gonna work
I tried to cry myself to sleep
'Cause it was supposed to hurt

We sat next to the fire
As the flame was burning out
I knew what you were thinking
Before you'd say it aloud

Don't say your sorry, 'cause I'm not even breaking
You're not worth the time that this is taking

I knew better then to let you break my heart
This soul you'll never see again, won't be showing scars
You still love her; I can see it in your eyes
The truth is all that I can hear
Every time you lie

I woke up the next morning
With a smile on my face
And a long list of gentlemen
Happy to take your place

Less trashier, much classier
Then who you prove to be
How long's it gonna take before
You see that she's no me

I knew better then to let you break my heart
This soul you'll never see again, won't be showing scars
You still love her; I can see it in your eyes
The truth is all that I can hear
Every time you lie

At night, awake
I will be sleeping till morning breaks
That's the price you pay, for your mistakes
Goodbye to dreaming
So don't say you're sorry, because I'm not gonna listen

I knew better then to let you break my heart
This soul you'll never see again, won't be showing scars
You still love her; I can see it in your eyes
The truth is all that I can hear
Every time you lie

Catch Me

Before I fall
Too fast
Kiss me quick
But make it last
So I can see
How badly this will hurt me
When you say goodbye?

Keep it sweet
Keep it slow
Let the future pass
And don't let go
But tonight I could fall too soon
Under this beautiful moonlight

But you're so hypnotizing
You got me laughing while I sing
You got me smiling in my sleep
And I can see this unraveling
Your love is where I'm falling
But please don't catch me...

See this heart
Won't settle down
Like a child running
Scared from a clown

I'm terrified
Of what you do
My stomach screams
Just when I look at you

Run far away
So I can breathe
Even though you're
Far from suffocating me
I can't set my hopes too high
'Cause every hello ends with a goodbye

But you're so hypnotizing
You got me laughing while I sing
You got me smiling in my sleep
And I can see this unraveling
Your love is where I'm falling
But please don't catch me...

So now you see
Why I'm scared
I can't open up my heart without a care
But here I go
It's what I feel
And for the first time in my life
I know it's real

But you're so hypnotizing
You got me laughing while I sing
You got me smiling in my sleep
And I can see this unraveling
Your love is where I'm falling
But please don't catch me

If this is love, please don't break me
I'm giving up so
Just catch me

Quiet

I hear what you're not saying
It's driving me crazy
It's like we stopped breathing in this room

We're both last to be leaving
I know what you're thinking
I wish you'd make your move

It's much too quiet in here
I want to disappear
I'm hearing myself thinking too clear

It's too quiet in here
Make it all go away
Why can't we break this silence?

Finally
It's like you know where I'm going
You follow me home but I never invite you inside
I see what you're not showing
I've got you alone but
The air is so still, it's weird

It's much too quiet in here
I want to disappear
I'm hearing myself thinking too clear

It's too quiet in here
Make it all go away
Why can't we break this silence?

Finally
Don't stop don't stop
Telling me goodnight
Just promise you'll kiss me goodbye
What's taking so long?

Don't tell me you're not gonna try
The tension's building in my mind
I wanna scream and I know why

It's much too quiet in here
I want to disappear
I'm hearing myself thinking too clear

It's too quiet in here
Make it all go away
Why can't we break this silence?

Finally
Make it all go away
It's so quiet in here

Falling Over Me

I'm standing in the center of the room
I watch the boys follow girl's perfume
All is as it should be, I assume
Except for the distance between me and you

You're standing as a flower on the wall
The room is still but we're about to fall
And all the names that brought us here
Simply fade away.....

Who you are is falling over me
(Who you are is falling over me)
Who you are is everything I need
(Who you are is everything I need)
I'm hoping, I'm waiting
I'm praying you are the one
I'm hoping, I'm waiting
I'm praying you are the one

I can't believe that night turned into today
I used the line you were supposed to say
And all the names that brought us here
Now we have to thank

Who you are is falling over me
(Who you are is falling over me)
Who you are has got me on my knees
(Who you are has got me on my knees)
I'm hoping, I'm waiting
I'm praying you are the one

If you are I will wait
I will follow
I'm here to stay
As long as we're promised tomorrow
I promise you today

I'll wait
I'll wait

Who you are is falling over me
(Who you are is falling over me)
Who you are has got me on my knees
(Who you are has got me on my knees)
I'm hoping, I'm waiting
I'm praying you are the one
I'm hoping, I'm waiting
I'm praying you are the one
You are the one

U Got Nothin' On Me

U got nothin' on me
U got nothin' on me
U got nothin' on me

Summer came, you took me by suprise
The California sunshine in my eyes
Driving with the top down, we sang along
To our favorite songs, nothing could go wrong

Laughing as we gazed under the moon
You kissed me and it never felt too soon
Hard to believe that anything could tear us apart
That you'd break my heart

Now I know who you are
U got nothing on me
I see I should've known it from the start
(U got nothing on me)
You can't tell me lies
Don't even try 'cause
This is goodbye, goodbye

Caught you from the corner of my eye
You smiled at a girl while passing by
Thought you had me fooled but you were wrong
I know what's going on, it didn't take me long

It wasn't hard to read between the lines
The necklace in your car that wasn't mine
Nothing left for you to do or say, so I'm on my way
Now it's too late

Now I know who you are
U got nothing on me
I see I should've known it from the start
(U got nothing on me)
You can't tell me lies
Don't even try 'cause
This is...

Goodbye to broken promises
Time to face your carelessness
Don't bore me with apologies
Or come back crawling on your knees

U got nothin' on me
U got nothin' on me

I know who you are
Yeah, I see
I should've known it from the start
You can't tell me lies
Don't even try 'cause
This is goodbye

Now I know who you are
U got nothing on me
I see, I should've known it from the start
(U got nothing on me)
You can't tell me lies
Don't even try 'cause,
This is goodbye
Goodbye

Solo

Gonna post all the Demi Lovato lyrics from "Here We Go Again" (2009)

Already did 2/14, "Here We Go Again" and "Gift of a Friend".

So here's "Solo".

You speak to me
And in your words I hear a melody
But in the twilight it's so hard to see
What's wrong for me; I can't resist
Until you give the truth a little twist
As if you're gonna get away with this

You're not sorry
I can't believe I fell for this
I fell through the hole
Down at the bottom of your soul

Didn't think you could go
So low
Look at what you've done
You're losing me
Here's what you've won
Got me planning to go
Solo
Solo

You sing to me
Too bad you couldn't even stay on key
If your life is such a mystery
Why don't you stick to acting?

Here you go again
You couldn't find my number until when
You thought that you could get to my best friend
Without a script, your game is lacking

I can't believe I fell for this
I fell through the hole
Down at the bottom of your soul

Didn't think you could go
So low
Look at what you've done
You're losing me
Here's what you've won
Got me planning to go
Solo
Solo

I'd rather go to a party alone
Than have to walk around with you on my arm
Now that I'm proud to admit that we're done
Good luck trying to find me...

'Cause I didn't think you could go
So low
Look at what you've done
You're losing me
Here's what you've won

Got me planning to go
Solo
Every day
'Cause you got me planning to go
Solo
Solo

Grad Party!

Ed's grad party was last night/today (sleepover).

Woooohooooo!

It was so much fun. Bouncy castle, slip-n-slide, FOOD...lots of FOOD.

Got sprayed by the hose (thanks, Ed) and then soaked by Aly and Meggles (I will get revenge you two!).

Bouncy castle...not a good idea with a bunch of crazy (but loveable) teens. It almost collapsed a few (dozen) times. Oops.

Quote from the bouncy castle:

Dan: NO VIOLENCE IN THE HAPPY BOUNCY CASTLE! NO VIOLENCE!

Slip-n-sliding came after...ahahhahahaha...

Quote from the slip-n-slide:

(I think) Wes and Timmy: We're not homo! *skip holding hands towards slip-n-slide, going down together*

After a while (a longggg while) we went inside. Ed and Ellen cuddled (aww) and the rest of us went on FailBlog (yay!) and YouTube (death metal remixes of Toxic, Girlfriend, etc). Fun, fun, fun.

Guitar Hero started after that (Cabral kicked butt. Seriously. Once, he left the room, and still hit most of the notes) Some went outside to play ManHunt. I flitted around and eventually went upstairs to play pool with Arthur, Dani, and Aly. Chris and Timmy (and Wes) came up and they played pool as well (at least, Chris and Timmy did). Guitar Hero tournament ensued downstairs (they tried to recruit me. Ha. Hahaha.) Arthur came up and started playing Halo (umm ok). Then we switched to ping pong. With almost no rules. And us on the sidelines (me, Aly, Meggles, Dani, and Wes) started counting points for each time we were hit with the ping pong ball. (Wes won).

We come downstairs, and everyone's gone. Umm...so we look outside. And there they all are. Playing Ultimate Frisbee. In the street. At 12:30 a.m. At least the frisbee lit up...

Then came...

The Sing Star Competition.

Ellen, be very glad you missed that. VERY GLAD.

Cabral can't carry a tune in a bucket. Ouch.

Cindy was quite loud, but not half-bad.

Ed and Chris murdered Nickelback's "Saving Me" (and I mean it was BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD).

C-dre (Chris A.) surprised us with a duet with Cindy, singing "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race". Heh heh.

(Some of us were in the kitchen, covering our ears).

BED TIME.

15 people.
9 boys.
6 girls.
1 living room.

Quote of bedtime:

Arthur: WE'RE ALL STRAIGHT HERE!

(The irony being, Arthur's gay)

Aly, Alicia, and I ended up on the pull-out mattress. Arthur and Ed took the loveseat. Wes was on cushions between the couch and the recliner, with Dan in the recliner. Timmy, Nate, and Cabral were on the floor next to the bar. Dani, Cindy, and Aly took the big air mattress, and Chris took the smaller one. C-dre was on the floor next to the loveseat (poor him, he had almost no room!)

So what time was it by now?

Don't ask me. I have no idea. Best guess, around 2:30 a.m. or so.

Got up around 8, and find some people in the living room. Just sitting there. In silence. (Creeeeepy).

Eventually, everyone got up.

Okay, so we had to shake Cabral awake (and kick his pillow).

He ain't a sleeping beauty. He sleeps with his mouth open.

And Wes wasn't waking up easily too (we had to severely shake him).

Breakfast was PANACAKES! Butterscotch, blueberry, and plain. Yummm.

We all ended up back in the den.

And that's when The Hangover began.

We ended up all spread out around the room. Hitting random balloons around. Soon one balloon became two became three became four. And we were fighting over them too (especially Chris and Cabral!). Sad. But that's what happens with sleepover hungover teens. Who are a bit crazy. Just a bit. Somewhere in all this, Ed was facedown on the pullout bed. Arthur gets on top of him. And cuddles with him.

Dan: Does Ellen know about this, Ed?

(Ellen, umm...yeah...Arthur likes to cuddle...a lot...no worries, though)

Thaaaat went on for a good hour, maybe hour and a half.

Quote of The Hangover:

Wes: *jumps on Timmy, who is on the air mattress, face-down*
Everyone: Oooh...
Wes: *starts like...attacking Timmy...while Timmy is still face-down*
Arthur: *looks up* WHOA BABY!
Someone random: RAAAAAAPEEEEEEE!
Timmy: *turns around*
Wes: *jumps on Timmy with pillow...looking like they were...doing it...LOL*
Arthur: Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about! HOT DAMN!
Everyone: *hysterical laughter*

A few minutes later...

Timmy: *moan*
Arthur: What kind of moan was THAT now, Timmy?
Everyone: *hysterical laughter X2*

So we re-set up the slip-n-slide and bouncy castle.

Ed and Cabral played NHL Hockey '08 (PlayStation 2). Bruins vs. Capitals. Capitals won (sadly).

While lunch was being prepared, I hung out with Dani, Cabral, and Ed in the den.

Ellen, you were right. He DOES make a good pillow.

Not that...I...

Ok, I leaned my head on his shoulder for a while. But he didn't push me away or anything. And that was it.

Still, I digress, he is quite comfortable.

I left around 1:30.

Still a bit hungover, though.

*yawwwwn*

Anyway, Ellen, so that's what you missed.

(Though you WANTED to miss the Sing Star competetion. It was bad. Bad talent show bad.)

Quote of the Blog:

You say aww one more time, and I'm throwing you in the slip-n-slide. Or finding a few spare water balloons and throwing them at you. You have two options.

I have a hose. Three options.

Gift of a Friend

Sometimes you think you'll be fine by yourself
'Cause a dream is a wish that you make all alone
It's easy to feel like you don't need help
But it's harder to walk on your own

You'll change inside
When you realize

The world comes to life
And everything's bright
From beginning to end
When you have a friend
By your side

That helps you to find
The beauty you are, when you open your heart
And believe in
The gift of a friend

The gift of a friend
Someone who knows when you're lost
And you're scared
There through the highs and lows
Someone you can count on, someone who cares
Beside you wherever you go

You'll change inside
When you realize

The world comes to life
And everythings bright
From beginning to end
When you have a friend
By your side
That helps you to find
The beauty you are, when you open your heart
And believe in
The gift of a friend

And when your hope crashes down
Shattering to the ground
You, you feel all alone
When you don't know which way to go
There's no signs leading you home
You're not alone

The world comes to life
And everythings bright
From beginning to end
When you have a friend
By your side
That helps you to find
The beauty you are, when you open your heart
And believe in
When you believe in
When you believe in
The gift of a friend

Behind These Hazel Eyes

Seems like just yesterday
You were a part of me
I used to stand so tall
I used to be so strong

Your arms around me tight
Everything, it felt so right
Unbreakable, like nothin' could go wrong

Now I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hanging on

Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one

Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes

I told you everything
Opened up and let you in
You made me feel alright
For once in my life

Now all that's left of me
Is what I pretend to be
So together, but so broken up inside

'Cause I can't breathe
No, I can't sleep
I'm barely hangin' on

Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one

Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes

Swallow me then spit me out
For hating you, I blame myself
Seeing you, it kills me now
No, I don't cry on the outside
Anymore...

Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one

Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes

Here I am, once again
I'm torn into pieces
Can't deny it, can't pretend
Just thought you were the one

Broken up, deep inside
But you won't get to see the tears I cry
Behind these hazel eyes

Here We Go Again

I throw all of your stuff away
I’m gonna clear you out of my head
I tear you out of my heart
And ignore all your messages
I tell everyone we are through
'Cause I'm so much better without you

But it’s just another pretty lie
'Cause I break down
Every time you come around
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

So how did you get here under my skin?
I swore that I'd never let you back in
Should have known better in trying to let you go
'Cause here we go, go, go again

Hard as I try, I know I can't quit
Something about you
Is so addictive
We're falling together
You'd think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go, go, go again

You never know what you want
And you never say what you mean
But I start to go insane
Every time that you look at me

You only hear half of what I say
And you're always showing up too late
And I know that I should say goodbye
But it's no use
Can't be with or without you
Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

So how did you get here under my skin?
I swore that I'd never let you back in
Should have known better in trying to let you go
'Cause here we go, go, go again

Hard as I try, I know I can't quit
Something about you is so addictive
We're falling together
You’d think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go, go, go again

And again, and again, and again, and again, and again

I threw all of your stuff away
And I cleared you out of my head
And I tore you out of my heart
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

So how did you get here under my skin?
I swore that I'd never let you back in
Should have known better in trying to let you go
'Cause here we go, go, go again

Hard as I try, I know I can't quit
Something about you is so addictive
We're falling together
You'd think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go, go, here we go again

Here we go again
Should have known better in trying to let you go
'Cause here we go, go, go again

Again (and again, and again)
Again (and again, and again)
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again

Hello

Playground school bell rings again
Rain clouds come to play again
Has no one told you she's not breathing?

Hello
I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to

Hello
If I smile and don't believe

Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken

Hello
I am the lie living for you so you can hide

Don't cry

Suddenly I know I'm not sleeping

Hello
I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday

As Long As He Needs Me

As long as he needs me...
Oh, yes, he does need me
In spite of what you see...
I'm sure that he needs me

Who else would love him still
When they've been used so ill?
He knows I always will...
As long as he needs me

I miss him so much when he is gone
But when he's near me
I don't let on...

...The way I feel inside
The love, I have to hide
The hell! I've gone my pride
As long as he needs me

He doesn't say the things he should
He acts the way he thinks he should
But all the same, I'll play
This game
His way

As long as he needs me...
I know where I must be
I'll cling on steadfastly...
As long as he needs me

As long as life is long
I'll love him right or wrong
And somehow, I'll be strong...
As long as he needs me

If you are lonely
Then you will know...
When someone needs you
You love them so

I won't betray his trust
Though people say I must
I've got to stay true, just
As long as he needs me!

Before The Storm

As much as I HATE Miley Cyrus, I love this song. It's a duet between her and Nick Jonas, and it's beautiful.

I know this isn't what I wanted
Never thought it'd come this far
Just thinking back to where we started
And how we lost all that we are

We were young and times were easy
But I could see it's not the same
I'm standing here but you don't see me
I'd give it all for that to change

And I dont want to lose her
I dont want to let her go

I'm standing out in the rain
I need to know if its over
'Cause I will leave you alone

Flooded with all this pain
Knowing that I'll never hold her
Like I did before the storm

And with every strike of lightning

Comes a memory that lasts

Not a word is left unspoken
As the thunder starts to crash

Maybe I should give up

I'm standing out in the rain
I need to know if its over
'Cause I will leave you alone

Flooded with all this pain
Knowing that I'll never hold her
Like I did before the storm

Trying to keep the light from going in

And the clouds from ripping out my broken heart
We always say a heart is not whole
Without the one who gets you through the storm

Standing out in the rain
Knowing that it's really over
Please don't leave me alone

Flooded with all this pain
Knowing that I'll never hold you
Like I did before the storm

Paranoid

I make the most of all the stress
I try to live without regrets
But I'm about to break a sweat
I'm freaking out

It's like a poison in my brain
It's like a fog that blurs the sane
It's like a vine you can't untangle
I'm freaking out

Every time I turn around
There's something that don't feel right

Might be paranoid
I'm avoiding the lines cause they just might split
Can someone stop the noise?

I don't know what it is
But it just don't fit
I'm paranoid, yeah

I take the necessary steps
To get some air into my chest
Can't hear the thoughts inside my head
I'm still freaking out

That's why my ex is still my ex
I never trust a word she says
I'm running all the background checks
She's freaking out

Every time I turn around
Something's just not right

Might be paranoid
I'm avoiding the lines cause they just might split
Someone stop the noise

I don't know what it is but it just don't fit
Consider me destroyed
I dont know how to act because I lost my head
I must be paranoid

I never thought it would come to this
Stuck in a room
I'm with staring faces, yeah
Caught in the nightmares
Can't wake up
I begin my cry

Running through her street
I'm about to freak
Come and rescue me

Might be paranoid, yeah
I'm avoiding the lines cause they just might split
Can someone stop the noise
I dont know what it is but it just don't fit

Consider me destroyed
I dont know how to act because I lost my head
I must be paranoid
I never thought it would come to this
I'm paranoid

You'll Be In My Heart

Come stop your crying
It will be all right
Just take my hand
Hold it tight
I will protect you from all around you
I will be here
Don't you cry

For one so small, you seem so strong
My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm
This bond between us
Can't be broken
I will be here
Don't you cry

'Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forevermore

You'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be here in my heart, always

Why can't they understand the way we feel?
They just don't trust what they can't explain
I know we're different but, deep inside us
We're not that different at all

And you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forevermore

Don't listen to them
'Cause what do they know?
We need each other, to have, to hold
They'll see in time
I know

When destiny calls you
You must be strong
I may not be with you
But you've got to hold on
They'll see in time
I know
We'll show them together

'Cause you'll be in my heart
Yes, you'll be in my heart
From this day on
Now and forevermore

Oh, you'll be in my heart
No matter what they say
You'll be in my heart, always
Always

Take a Breath

I walked across the crowded street
A sea of eyes, they cut through me
And I saw you in the middle

Your upset face, you wear it well
You camouflage the way you feel
When everything's the matter

We've all been down that road before
Searching for that something more

World's spinning 'round
There's no sign of slowing down
So won't you take a breath?
Just take a breath

People change and promises are broken
Clouds can move and skies will be wide open
Don't forget to take a breath

Blink our eyes, life's rearranged
To our suprise, it's still OK
It's the way things happen

Summer comes and then it goes
Hold on tight, and brace for cold
And it's only for a moment

We've all been down that road before
Searching for that something more

World's spinning 'round
There's no sign of slowing down
So won't you take a breath?
Just take a breath

People change and promises are broken
Clouds can move and skies will be wide open
Don't forget to take a breath

Life isn't suffocating
Air isn't overrated

World's spinning 'round
There's no sign of slowing down
So won't you take a breath?
Just take a breath

World's spinning 'round
There's no sign of slowing down
So won't you take a breath?
Just take a breath
Take a breath

People change and promises are broken
Clouds can move and skies will be wide open
Don't forget to take a breath

World's spinning 'round
There's no sign of slowing down
So won't you take a breath?
Don't forget to take a breath
Don't forget to take a breath
