SPRING AWAKENING!!!

Here's a detailed review :-)

The playbill stated that Claire Sparks would be on for Thea. Cool! I missed Kimiko, but Claire was fine.

The set...oh goodness, it was so lovely! The ensemble on this show were Krystina and Perry (stage left) and Julie and Lucas (stage right). Amazing how they blended in (of course, I knew who they were!)

The rest of the cast came and sat down, except Christy, who went on her chair.

Mama Who Bore Me: Christy has such a lovely voice.

The adult women (Angie) was quite amusing as Frau Bergman. :-)

Mama Who Bore Me (Reprise): Oh, wow. Such a rock number! The drums just go right through you!

Then, I nearly fainted seeing Blake and Ben. Bennnnnn. So. Cute.

All That's Known: Kyle has a decent voice. Toss-up between him and John Groff, of course.

OH YEAH. ANTHONY LEE MEDINA WAS LOOKING AT ME AND SINGING! AHH! HE'S EVEN CUTER IN PERSON!

Bitch of Living: Such energy! The loud music! The crazy jumping! THE BEN MOSS! ♥♥♥

My Junk: Heh, bit awkward. Rock on, Andy. It takes a real man not only to...pleasure yourself...onstage, but to make out with another dude.

Touch Me: The music here is so gorgeous!

Word of Your Body: Kyle and Christy sound so nice together.

Loved Blake's happy dance when he learns he's passed. So cute! And when he hugged Kyle? Awww!

Dark I Know Well: Sarah's bruise looked so creepily realistic. O_O But I did love her portayal of Martha. She sounded okay with Steffi, but I prefer the Lili/Lauren combo overall.

The beating scene gave me chills. Christy really went for it in this one (as opposed to Lea).

And Then There Were None: Blake. Bashoff. Oh. My. God. So. Cute.

Mirror-Blue Night: The lights were so pretty. Kyle sounded nice in this one.

I Believe: Got a veryyyy nice view of Kyle's ass ;-)

Intermission: Mom refers to Moritz as "The Boy Who Failed". You heard it here first. She said "the boy who failed was cute". Well, duh, he's adorable. But his name is Moritz!

Guilty Ones: Again, I liked There Once Was a Pirate in this place, but it was lovely.

Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind: Steffi takes the gold for my favorite Ilse in this song (with Lauren being my favorite in DIKW and Phoebe for Purple Summer). Blake was actually crying (both were!) and I was like "no! Don't do it, Blake! Liiiiiiiiveeeee!"

Left Behind: Saddest, most heartbreaking thing. I could barely look at Sarah. She lost her poor "sad, soulful, sleepyhead, Moritz Stiefel"! And Steffi, oh wow, such emotion!

Totally Fucked: Wooooooo! So. Much. Action!

Word of Your Body (reprise): Ben. And Andy. Kissed. Fuck yesssss.

Whispering: Again, not fond of this song, but Christy somehow made me like it just a little bit better.

Those You've Known: So sad!

Song of Purple Summer: Easily the best song in the show, vocal-wise (and lyrics-wise). So pretty!

10/10. 5 stars. Want to see it again. *coughBenMosscough*
