Pre-period 4:
Jake acknowledged me today! Well...he said "hola"...LOL.
Period 4:
Vocab review. For a quiz tomorrow.
Period 5:
Rawr. I really don't like this teacher now. Apparently, the novel I WANT to use for my paper might not be "a literary figure". Greaaaat.
Period 6:
She was in a meeting and...wait for it...there was no one to cover the class! (Wooooo!)
Advisory:
Glittery. Pens. Oh. My. God.
Locker Switch:
Meh, okay.
Period 1:
Sub! Did a wordsearch and a crossword. (Well, they were our assignment)
Period 2:
SUB! Being in a class of all girls, we watched The Notebook. Fuuuuuuuuun.
Lunch:
Eh, quiet.
Period 3:
The most fun I've ever had in this class. We had a party for our student teacher (it was her last day with us) and then we went outside and played Frisbee for awhile. :-)
Quote of the Blog:
DON'T LOOK! THEY'RE GONNA DO IT!

Hand Holding and Hysterical Laughter
Pre-period 5:
THEY were all talking about band stuff. Ah, well. My loss?
Period 5:
Quiz, ugh. And lecture on How To Outline a Research Paper (double ugh).
Period 6:
Hmm, talked. Not really much today.
Then, I walked down "95" (aka this ridiculously long hallway that connects the 600-800 wings to the 300-500 wings). With Twilight. And we were, yes, holding hands. *sighs* It was so very nice. Gave me butterflies, really. I won't forget it anytime soon :-)
Period 7:
More stuff that no one understands and we will never use again. Wooooooo!
Advisory:
Assembly! Hung with Meggles and Ellen.
No locker switch today. Assembly ran almost through it.
Period 2:
ANOTHER sub! (The question of the day is, how many girls can you fit into that damn bathroom? Our record today was 5, I believe. Shocking, I know. This is what we do in that class.)
Lunch:
HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER ATTACK! Heeheehee. Not even sure what set us off, really. Meggles and I just LOST it and starting laughing, couldn't stop (Ed was like "wtf"' and Ellen just looked at us funny. Don't think Emily, Theresa, or Courtney really noticed, LOL). So. Much. Fun.
Period 3:
Mmm, not too bad. A bit confusing, the work, but we're par-tay-ing tomorrow!
Oh, and if KATHERINE asks me those questions ONE MORE TIME...
...I'm gonna slap her. Really. I don't care if she's our class VP. I'm slapping her.
Period 1:
Finished Environmental Health. Yay!
Dance tonight was very fun, finished our dance. (The earliest I've EVER finished a recital number!)
So, all in all, a MUCH better day than yesterday was *smiles all around for Wednesdays!*
Quote of the Blog:
Why does it smell like apple pie?
We dunked Delia's head in the toliet and then baked an apple pie.
xoxo Meg

Eh
Pre-period 6:
Mmm, not much. Tussled with Jacob, haha.
Period 6:
This is what we learned today in this class: Don't drink and drive. Use condoms.
Period 7:
More stuff that NO ONE IN THE CLASS UNDERSTANDS! *gasp* What a shock.
Period 4:
Fooood. All that foooood.
Zack C: Marty, tu eres mi corazon!
Marty: *looks*
(He said, "Marty, you are my love/heart!" LOL)
Advisory:
Hmm, read a little.
Locker Switch:
Got yelled at. Me and my big-ass mouth.
Period 3:
CANDY! CHOCOLATE! Dangggg, why can't we do labs like this with our real teacher?! This student teacher ROCKS! Sadly, this is her last week with us *cries*
Period 1:
Did another lesson on environmental health. Yawn. Reminds me of Biology last year. Except I liked Biology.
Lunch:
No one was there. So I sat by myself and read.
Period 2:
S-U-B spells sub! No movie this time; we all sat around and talked.
Quote of the Blog:
Great, the driveway smells like pickles now.

Lunch is Fun
Pre-period 7:
Talked with Ellen and Meggles :-)
Period 7:
Something figures...what are they...? Something with a "c"...
Period 4:
Not much. As per usual.
Period 5:
Fire drill!
Advisory:
Read. Heh.
Locker Switch:
Nothing of importance? Just us being us!
Period 1:
Environmental health. Rah.
Period 2:
New project. Shapes. Fun.
Lunch:
So much fun! Talked about Freshman-Sophomore and Prom (for the Seniors) and whatnot. Heehee.
Period 3:
A quiz. Wooooo.
Quote of the Blog:
Muahahahaha!

SPRING AWAKENING!!!
Here's a detailed review :-)
The playbill stated that Claire Sparks would be on for Thea. Cool! I missed Kimiko, but Claire was fine.
The set...oh goodness, it was so lovely! The ensemble on this show were Krystina and Perry (stage left) and Julie and Lucas (stage right). Amazing how they blended in (of course, I knew who they were!)
The rest of the cast came and sat down, except Christy, who went on her chair.
Mama Who Bore Me: Christy has such a lovely voice.
The adult women (Angie) was quite amusing as Frau Bergman. :-)
Mama Who Bore Me (Reprise): Oh, wow. Such a rock number! The drums just go right through you!
Then, I nearly fainted seeing Blake and Ben. Bennnnnn. So. Cute.
All That's Known: Kyle has a decent voice. Toss-up between him and John Groff, of course.
OH YEAH. ANTHONY LEE MEDINA WAS LOOKING AT ME AND SINGING! AHH! HE'S EVEN CUTER IN PERSON!
Bitch of Living: Such energy! The loud music! The crazy jumping! THE BEN MOSS! ♥♥♥
My Junk: Heh, bit awkward. Rock on, Andy. It takes a real man not only to...pleasure yourself...onstage, but to make out with another dude.
Touch Me: The music here is so gorgeous!
Word of Your Body: Kyle and Christy sound so nice together.
Loved Blake's happy dance when he learns he's passed. So cute! And when he hugged Kyle? Awww!
Dark I Know Well: Sarah's bruise looked so creepily realistic. O_O But I did love her portayal of Martha. She sounded okay with Steffi, but I prefer the Lili/Lauren combo overall.
The beating scene gave me chills. Christy really went for it in this one (as opposed to Lea).
And Then There Were None: Blake. Bashoff. Oh. My. God. So. Cute.
Mirror-Blue Night: The lights were so pretty. Kyle sounded nice in this one.
I Believe: Got a veryyyy nice view of Kyle's ass ;-)
Intermission: Mom refers to Moritz as "The Boy Who Failed". You heard it here first. She said "the boy who failed was cute". Well, duh, he's adorable. But his name is Moritz!
Guilty Ones: Again, I liked There Once Was a Pirate in this place, but it was lovely.
Don't Do Sadness/Blue Wind: Steffi takes the gold for my favorite Ilse in this song (with Lauren being my favorite in DIKW and Phoebe for Purple Summer). Blake was actually crying (both were!) and I was like "no! Don't do it, Blake! Liiiiiiiiveeeee!"
Left Behind: Saddest, most heartbreaking thing. I could barely look at Sarah. She lost her poor "sad, soulful, sleepyhead, Moritz Stiefel"! And Steffi, oh wow, such emotion!
Totally Fucked: Wooooooo! So. Much. Action!
Word of Your Body (reprise): Ben. And Andy. Kissed. Fuck yesssss.
Whispering: Again, not fond of this song, but Christy somehow made me like it just a little bit better.
Those You've Known: So sad!
Song of Purple Summer: Easily the best song in the show, vocal-wise (and lyrics-wise). So pretty!
10/10. 5 stars. Want to see it again. *coughBenMosscough*

A Comet on Its Way
Spring Awakening BONUS Song of the Day #2
"A Comet on Its Way"
Character(s): Moritz, Melchior, Boys
**This song was in workshops, and was replaced by The Bitch of Living**
And meanwhile, everywhere I look!
Judy Nathan
Kelly Casen
Sally Timmerman
Anna Kim
Lucinda Primm
Jill and Jenny Sands
Good ol' Lisa
Christ, she seems so distant and so sad
Then there's Wendy, somehow with me
Doesn't matter where I am
Hip preteens out in their jeans
Zippered in their bods
From the back, man, that ass
And that little slip of bra
Oh my hands adjust my pants in the auditorium
Down the hall, into the stalls
Where my fingers are all thumbs
Christ, the whole like deals
Nightly too unreal
Holding you -- you nowhere me
And I mean holding, holding
Through the darkness comes the laughter
All the stars bend over sideways
Oh my darling, there's a Heaven
Such a comet on it's way
Melchi, do me a favor
Write it down, everything!
Whatever you know!
Stick it my books tomorrow!
If you want, you can add some illustrations in the margin
As you like
One question, though
Hmm?
Ever seen a girl naked?
Of course!
Nothing on?
Abosolutely!
Nothing
No illustrations necessary, then
Well, one or two might be... useful, actually
Goodnight, Melchi, I better be off
Goodnight
